The band's very first time competing, in Xanten (Germany) in 2006, resulting in a second place in Grade 5.
The band playing in front of 8000 people performing the intro to the concert of a very famous local band called Rowwen Hèze, in America (The Netherlands). Yes, you read that correctly: there is a very small town in the Netherlands called America.
The band playing at the summit of Creag and Tuirc, Balquhidder (Scotland) during a visit to the Clan MacLaren in 2011. Creag and Tuirc was the gathering place of the Clan MacLaren.
The band's name in those days was the MacLaren Pipe Band. The early founders of the band had affiliations to this clan and received permission to use the name for the band, as well as for wearing the Maclaren tartan.
Later the band changed its name to the Venlo Caledonian Pipe band and switched from the predominantly green and blue Ancient Maclaren tartan to the more brown and grey Weathered Maclaren tartan, which the band is currently still wearing.

The band in combination with the Clan Hay Pipe Band from Belgium, playing at a memorial service for the victims of World War One at the Menin Gate in Ypres (Belgium) in 2015; A very beautiful and special event to have been a part of.

One of the finest moments for the band in terms of musical achievement: a celebratory picture taken in Forres (Scotland) in 2017, after winning 5th place at the European Championships.
For those who are unfamiliar, the major pipe band championships always award prizes for the top 6 placings rather than the usual top 3 placings.

The band in combination with Coriovallum Pipe Band from Heerlen (The Netherlands), playing Highland Cathedral together with André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra in front of a packed Vrijthof Square in Maastricht (The Netherlands) in 2018.

First full-band picture sporting our new Weathered Maclaren tartan. Taken in Angelbachtal (Germany) in 2019 after competing there. This is the bands first outing with the new uniform.
The band's first big performance after the Corona lockdowns, at the British Car Meeting in the beautiful town of Stavelot (Belgium) in 2022.
